JFK Control Tower

Last year I was able to go up into the JFK control tower to see what the controller see. I have always wanted to see what JFK looked like from their vantage point. Snuggled in Jamaica Bay and with Manhattan glittering in the distance it is a surreal sight. You are eye level with aircraft arriving and departing with the tower at 300 feet. You need QT to view this Quicktime VR panorama. I stitched a bunch of images together so you will see a few twins.

Use your shift and control key to zoom in and out and click move your mouse around in the image.
