Electric Motorcycle Project

EMC v.1

Here is the first sketch of the electric bike project I am starting.  On back burner for a while now, but I need to dig in... Im getting cabin fever and don't have my Bullet back till next week. I hate winter. So starting design study and prototyping now.

Design goals / constraints:

  • Maintain cruise at 75 for 150 miles
  • Single Rider
  • Standard household charging (Edison 110v plug) / High voltage quick charger option
  • Battery cost under $2000
  • Maintain feel of a proper petrol motorcycle
