The canvas is a white melamine countertop. I apply concentrated or gentle heat with a flame torch to achieve the desired amount of "brush" coverage. <p>Here is the first sketch of the electric bike project I am starting. &nbsp;On back burner for a while now, but I need to dig in... Im getting cabin fever and don't have my <a href="http://www.petereraymond.com/objects/">Bullet</a> back till next week. I hate winter. So starting design study and prototyping now.</p>

<li>Standard household charging (Edison 110v plug) / High voltage quick charger option</li>

The shade is comprised of intersecting cubes of all the same size. This creates different volumetric chambers for the light to diffuse through while creating interesting shading of the multiple cubes geometry. The shade would fit on a standard floor or table lamp.</p>

I wanted to keep them clean and not to complex so by first observation they would look easy, but then the physics would screw with you. Participant will either overshoot the landings or stick the landing and be thrown off balance by change in direction. Three opposing treadmills push or pull bike wheels off the edge of the ramp. If they fall off they have to climb back up and do the same thing running. Treadmills before ramp makes the participant travel faster down the ramp, with little control.</p><p>Slanted trampoline bounces the participant farther away from the platform because that would be funny.</p><p> </p><p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.petereraymond.com/storage/alt-roller-death.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1263077925603" alt="" /></span><span class="thumbnail-caption" style="width: 500px;">Roller Death</span></span></p><p>Contestant has to leap from each roller to the next. Each set of rollers has a hydraulic damper so that it can't spin out of control and give the participant a moment (a sad fleeting moment), but only a moment to decide how to proceed. The roller assembly is on a seesaw mechanism so that if they wait to long or jump wrong the opposing roller will come up and block their leap or pummel them in the face. If they fall they will be cushioned by baby sharks and squid.</p><p> </p><p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.petereraymond.com/storage/roller-death.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1263077965760" alt="" /></span><span class="thumbnail-caption" style="width: 500px;">Super Roller Death</span></span></p><p>Contestant has to hold on to a rope that is laced through big bouncy rollers. They have to hold on and make it all the way to the top. </p><p>If they let go of the rope they bounce all the way down to the bottom like a giant Plinko game. I have always wanted to see what JFK looked like from their vantage point. Snuggled in Jamaica Bay and with Manhattan glittering in the distance it is a surreal sight. You are eye level with aircraft arriving and departing with the tower at 300 feet. You need QT to view this Quicktime VR panorama. I stitched a bunch of images together so you will see a few twins.</p>
